METEOR INCORPORATED is a not-for-profit Australian organisation established under the auspices of the Australian Science Fiction Foundation but incorporated separately on legal advice in August 2007. Its public fund was endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a deductible gift recipient, with effect from 9 February 2010.

The purpose of the Association is to securely preserve and manage collections of books, magazines and other memorabilia when their present owners can no longer maintain them. Its mission is to raise funds to set up a permanent science fiction institution and research collection in Australia.

We regret that the Association is in the process of being wound up, due to lack of funds and the death of its founder, Bill Wright.
